The HOPE Method (Helping Oncology Patients Esthetically) offers a specialized curriculum in medical makeup designed to empower individuals whose appearance has been affected by cancer treatment. This internationally recognized training has been trusted by both individuals and aesthetics professionals for over a decade. It was also featured in a groundbreaking scientific study on Oncology Aesthetics conducted by UT Southwestern at Texas, highlighting its transformative impact.

Meet Jeanna Doyle Ruhl the founder of The HOPE Method and author of WigED the first beauty book on wig selection. Jeanna has worked in both medical and advertising settings as a licensed cosmetologist. She has advanced training in medical aesthetics, oncology aesthetics, and corrective makeup.

Jeanna contributes corrective makeup wig and beauty articles for both medical and beauty industry giants. She also gives talks, often with live demos, for cancer patients, career-oriented women, and professionals in the beauty industry.

But in order for it to be a successful learning experience and outcome for me, not only does the trainer/educator have to be knowledgeable and experienced in their field, it is crucial that s/he also have good instructional skills. Jeanna Doyle has all of it. Given that our subject matter was make-up, we could have generally gabbed about that for days as you can imagine, but Jeanna never lost site of our subject matter. She consistently brought us back to the heart of the training, relating what we were learning and tying it in to cancer patients/clients and their special skin and psychosocial issues.
